This Accounting Services Analyst A position in the Department of Health's Bureau of WIC Program Services handles complex financial accounting including invoice processing, auditing, data entry into fiscal systems, and account monitoring. The role requires high accuracy and independence in managing daily reimbursements, preparing voucher batches, and ensuring compliance with state and federal accounting requirements.
Key qualifications:- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Experience with Florida's accounting system (FLAIR) preferred
- Two years or more of administrative support experience preferred
- Knowledge of office procedures, data collection methods, and basic arithmetic
- Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations and prepare administrative reports
- Ability to manage time independently and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
