Location: Tallahassee
The Financial Analyst works in the Florida Department of the Lottery's Division of General Accounting under the Accounting Manager, handling cash management, retailer account reconciliations, and daily transaction processing. Key responsibilities include matching retailer deposits, reconciling bank statements, processing adjustments in accounting systems, and preparing cash analysis and financial reports to ensure accurate revenue deposits and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Knowledge of general accounting practices and bookkeeping
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of state accounting systems and banking procedures
- Ability to compile, organize, analyze and process detailed financial information
- Successful passing of criminal background check (state, local, and national)
