Bookkeeper

A local organization is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities

• Pull and generate financial reports
• Compile and maintain accounting data
• Process and reconcile membership credit card transactions
• Record and monitor daily financial transactions
• Prepare reports for the CPA
• Manage A/P and A/R activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with general bookkeeping duties

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced office environment.

Quick Books experience preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and strong attention to detail with experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial recordkeeping.
