Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of Testing Specialist - P01531 with Testing Services.

The Testing Specialist is a member of the Testing Center and will report to the Testing Coordinator. The Testing Specialist’s primary responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

• Administers classroom tests, exit exams, PERT, and other tests as administered by TSC
• Assists with Accommodated Testing as needed
• Answers incoming calls; responds to inquiries via e-mail; provides front desk check-in services; schedules test appointments; maintains student test records; maintains student port information related to student testing and accommodations.
• Compiles data reports for test administration and acts as technical support liaison to students and troubleshoots computer issues.
• Adheres to opening and closing procedures; participates in cross-training activities; updates Testing Center website for Testing information.

We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, and three (3) years of secretarial and/or clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of National College Testing Association standards and guidelines. Knowledge of filing systems. Knowledge of grammar and usage of the English language. Knowledge of portal technologies (i.e. SharePoint).
• Proficient in effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient in human relations and interpersonal communication skills. Skilled in the use of a personal computer, internet, email, voicemail, scheduling software and multi-line phone system.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
