Location: Tallahassee
This Regulatory Specialist II position in the Florida Department of Health's Division of Medical Quality Assurance processes licensure applications for health care professionals. The role is administrative and customer-service oriented, involving review of confidential documents, use of licensing systems, and communication of requirements and continuing education rules. The incumbent updates licensee information, sends verifications, and assists with office procedures. This is a fully on-site position in Tallahassee requiring five days per week in the office.
Keyqualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Ability to learn job-specific software such as LEIDS
- Strong data organization skills and effective communication
- Ability to work independently within established schedules
- Must be physically present in the office to perform job duties
