Location: Tallahassee
This Government Operations Consultant II position, based in Tallahassee, serves as the primary point of contact for programs within the Office of Small Business Innovation (OSBI) and supports the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). The role manages contracts, coordinates stakeholder engagement, prepares reports, and provides technical assistance to small businesses and community organizations. The position requires independent work managing multiple programs simultaneously while ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.
Keyqualifications:
- Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification required within 12 months of employment
- Knowledge of small business programs and state government operations
- Skill in coordinating multiple programs simultaneously and managing deadlines
- Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing contracts in a government environment (preferred)
