Location: Tallahassee
Government Operations Consultant I in the Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Water Restoration Assistance analyzes financial assistance disbursement requests, reviews them for accuracy and regulatory compliance, and maintains disbursement records using spreadsheet software and databases. The role is located in Tallahassee, FL and requires 40-hour weeks with core hours 9AM–3PM on site.
Key qualifications:- Valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Ability to analyze data, review policies for compliance, and work independently
- Experience reviewing and processing invoices for payment (preferred)
- Associate's degree in business or finance or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
