Merchant II, NA Men’s Running Apparel

This merchant role supports strategy and ideation, product assortments, line planning, and data and analytics to drive end-to-end profitability. The role partners with cross-functional teams including geo consumer and marketplace merchandising, local product creation, brand marketing, demand planning, consumer insights and analytics, and global sport merchandising. The merchant supports Lead and Senior Merchants from global product handoff through to POS hind sighting, specifically for Men’s Running Apparel.

A background in and understanding of the North America marketplace is a key enabler of success.

• Support strategy and ideation, product assortments, line planning, and data and analytics to drive end-to-end profitability.
• Synthesize and present marketplace POS and bookings.
• Compile insights from cross-functional partners in Sales and Channel Merchandising.
• Develop key relationships among cross-functional teammates.
• Support Lead and Senior Merchants from global product handoff through to POS hind sighting for Men’s Running Apparel.
• Help the team create marketplace distinction by leveraging seasonal channel offerings.
• Assist in alignment with other sport-focused teams to ensure a cohesive product offering in market.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field; any suitable combination of education, experience, and training will be accepted.
• 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, with experience working on new projects, startups, concepts, or ideas.
• Proficiency in analysing business and consumer trends.
• Attention to detail and efficient ways of working.
• Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
