Location: Tallahassee
The Government Operations Consultant III supports the implementation, administration, and oversight of Florida's Job Growth Grant Fund within Florida Commerce's Division of Economic Development. The role involves evaluating economic development applications, conducting financial and legal due diligence, managing project approvals, and coordinating with state partners to facilitate business decisions and economic growth initiatives.
Key qualifications:- Knowledge and experience in management of public infrastructure and workforce contracts
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Knowledge of contracts, agreements, and financial, business, and legal due diligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- Team-oriented with ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and establish effective working relationships
- Preference given to applicants with previous program management or contracting experience
