Location: Tallahassee
Public Utility Analyst I is an entry-level position in the Florida Public Service Commission's Division of Economics, responsible for reviewing and analyzing economic and operational data related to utility issues, with primary focus on energy conservation and cost recovery requests from electric and gas utilities. The role requires analyzing conservation cost data submitted by utilities and preparing oral and written recommendations to the Commission.
Keyqualifications:
- Four years of relevant work experience in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, or public administration
- Associate degree and two years of relevant work experience, or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to analyze economic and operational data pertaining to utility-related issues
- Capability to prepare and present oral and written recommendations
