* JOB PURPOSE:

** The Business Development Specialist Road Construction will ensure the sales of Road construction products by developing the market, both at the distributor and end customer-side and develop the market presence of
** Topcon
* * in Road Construction for DACH and East Europe (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic)
** CORE JOB DUTIES
*** Work to build up a network with the most important customers / partners / stakeholders in the area.
* Responsible for maximizing the sales of the road construction portfolio within the designated region in line with the agreed sales budgets.
* Understand the road construction industry and create business with existing and new stakeholders.
* Work closely with
** Topcon’s
** Sales and Marketing Teams to provide business solutions.
* Creating and supporting events for distributors, subsidiaries, authorities, universities and similar.
* Get in contact with tendering authorities and private project owners to add
** Topcon’s
** Road construction portfolio to tenders.
** MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
** Education & Experience
* Civil engineer degree or similar in Business and/or Construction Industry
* 5+ years’ working experience in road construction and/or construction business.
* Salesmen with a technical understanding
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German language

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
* Affinity for digitization
* Ability of building trusted long-term professional relationships
* A basic know-how for survey industry will be an advantage
* Able to present in front of deciders in local and English language.
* Willingness working in a virtual team
* Language skills: fluent
** English
* * and
** German
* * language ( both verbally and in written form)
* The knowledge of another European language will be an advantage
** This is a hybrid role working remote in Germany or UK
