Project Engineer

Project Engineer role at Bright View Landscapes

• Work with the construction team to ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule, and with a high standard of quality
• Perform takeoffs using Onscreen Take-off (OST) and gather pricing for estimates
• Review take-offs with the estimating team
• Manage document control, including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration
• Prepare reports and information as requested
• Coordinate between the branch administrative team, field employees, sales team, estimating team, and branch management regularly
• Work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and employees; ensure exceptional customer service and quality at all times

• B.A degree in Landscape Architecture, civil engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
• Proficient with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and project management software
• Strong work ethic
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

• Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers
• Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the time
• Operates in an office environment and requires in-person presence

• Work is conducted in a professional office environment, with a collaborative and dynamic team setting, and requires in-person presence
