We specialize in fast‑track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
Responsibilities- Supervise, direct and coordinate assigned construction crews on job sites to safely produce quality work within project requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Ensure alignment with RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values:
Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline. - Collaborate with subcontractors, senior managers, project engineers, and other stakeholders to obtain and verify information needed for project execution.
- Plan and schedule work, manage labor, materials, and time to meet project milestones.
- Identify hazards, inspect work progress, and enforce compliance with specifications, laws, and RQ safety procedures.
- Communicate information to supervisors, co‑workers, subordinates, and external stakeholders in person, by phone, email, or written correspondence.
- Lead and coordinate crew activities to accomplish daily and long‑term project objectives.
- Information Management – Observe, receive, and obtain information from relevant sources and verify data.
- Decision Making & Problem Solving – Analyze information and evaluate results to select the best solutions for project issues.
- Planning & Organization – Develop specific goals and schedules to prioritize and complete work efficiently.
- Communication & Coordination – Provide information to supervisors, co‑workers, subordinates, and external stakeholders.
- Team Leadership – Coordinate work and activities of crew members.
- Scheduling & Resource Management – Manage labor, materials, and time.
- Safety & Quality Control – Identify hazards, inspect progress, and ensure compliance.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness – Build and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
- Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction; government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
- Design‑build experience desirable.
- Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial‑scale projects preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required; training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS certifications required (training available).

$40.00 – $50.00 per hour, DOE
