• Anchors traditional broadcasts and digital streaming newscasts.
• Works with co‑anchors and producers to ensure story selection and broadcast quality are clean, compelling, and consistent.
• Connects with viewers and the community both on and off the desk.
• Generates story ideas.
• Shoots, writes, and edits stories for broadcast and digital.
• Contributes content to digital platforms.
• Builds local contacts and relationships.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years anchoring and reporting in a commercial newsroom.
• Non‑linear editing experience.
• Degree in journalism.
• A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurability.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience; candidates with fewer than 5 years will not be considered.
