Director, Global Jordan Streetwear Art Direction & Design

This role leads the creative vision for Jordan Brand initiatives through art direction, supporting premium Jordan Brand consumer experiences and the Jordan Design ethos. The position leads a variety of projects, working closely with producers, designers and writers to deliver a well-crafted and innovative creative vision across the Art Direction studio. It leads designers and reports directly to the Senior Director - Art Direction Studio, while regularly partnering with other art directors, designers, 365 Studio designers, the Brand Narrative Director and Brand Marketing leaders.

• Lead a variety of projects, working closely with producers, designers and writers to deliver a well-crafted and innovative creative vision.
• Drive design excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the team delivers multidisciplinary creative against the seasonal strategy.
• Implement the creative vision for Jordan Brand initiatives through art direction in a way that supports premium Jordan Brand consumer experiences and the Jordan Design ethos.
• Elevate the consumer brand experience through the brand appearance of product, communications, collateral materials, digital and retail.
• Take the lead on seasonal initiative concepting.
• Maintain and foster relationships with external partners such as design agencies, photographers and producers.
• Creatively direct and lead work with external partners to ensure they are aligned to project expectations and Jordan Brand standards.
• Work with Brand Marketing and 365 Studio to understand product benefits and provide creative direction that brings those benefits to life for the consumer.
• Lead designers within the Art Direction studio.

• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field; any suitable combination of education, experience and training will be accepted.
• At least 10 years of relevant graphic design or art direction experience.
• Deep understanding of streetwear, basketball culture and the Jordan brand.
• Expert-level knowledge of current trends in styling, brands, art and other creative fields.
• Understanding of the brand creative/marketing process.
• Experience collaborating closely with Brand Marketing partners and external brands.
• Familiarity with Figma and Adobe programs including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience building inspiration/concept presentations and mood boards for seasonal concepts and direction.
• Clear, concise and thoughtful presentation and communication style, with strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to present new ideas or seasonal concepts to small and large groups, including executive leaders and external partners or customers.
• Ability to ensure key brand creative gates and dates are met, to craft and use tools effectively, and to lead cross-functional teamwork as appropriate.
• Ability to manage and maintain relationships with artists, influencers, design agencies, architects, photographers, producers, project managers and freelancers, and to creatively direct
• Manage and coordinate work with these partners to ensure alignment across project expectations and Jordan Brand standards.
• Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
• Ability to create presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to team members, leaders, directors and various internal and external audiences.
