Florida Housing is looking for a passionate and energetic self‑starter to serve as a Policy Manager to help us drive our mission forward!

As a Policy Manager, you will independently oversee multiple projects, conduct comprehensive program analysis, and develop strategic methodologies, tools, and resources for Florida Housing programs. Key responsibilities encompass project management, policy and program development, and research and reporting. This role involves organizing various components to support broader programs, identifying strategic approaches to work within complex systems, conducting in‑depth policy research, and preparing detailed reports.

Additionally, this position will assist in rule development, score competitive applications, and provide staffing support for external workgroup meetings.

Position Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited four‑year college or possess 2‑3 years of related experience or training.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to summarize complex policy issues.
• Highly motivated self‑starter, capable of working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple and varied projects with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software is essential.
• Experience with research activities.
• Knowledge of federal and state housing policies.
• Strong understanding of urban and regional planning.

This is an in‑person position in the Tallahassee office of Florida Housing Finance Corporation. We do not offer remote work options.

Salary and Benefits: Anticipated hiring salary is $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Florida Housing provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability insurance, and other miscellaneous programs. Paid vacation, sick and personal leave; 11 paid holidays; and 401/457 retirement accounts.
