Expert Designer, Speed Footwear Product Design

This role sits within a fast-moving multidisciplinary team of experienced Footwear Designers, Computational Designers and Innovation Designers focused on industry-leading innovative footwear, reporting directly to the VP of Footwear Design Excellence. The designer leads footwear projects across performance, lifestyle and innovation categories, from sketch ideation and concept visualisation through to tech pack and revisions. The position involves close collaboration with a wide range of internal teams and external partners, as well as mentoring other designers.

• Lead footwear projects from sketch ideation and concept visualisation through presentation, tech pack and revisions.
• Work across all categories of performance, lifestyle and innovation footwear.
• Deliver projects spanning high-volume programmes through to one-off inspirational concepts.
• Collaborate with a wide range of teams across the business.
• Work directly with internal and external partners to test, evaluate and recommend new digital design tools.
• Mentor other designers on new and innovative design processes.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or a related field; any suitable combination of education, experience and training will be accepted.
• 8 years' experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
• Knowledge of form, colour, materials and human factors related to elevating the consumer experience.
• Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives.
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Strong sketching, illustration, visualisation and rendering skills.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
• Experience with presentation programs such as Keynote, PowerPoint and Acrobat.
• Fluency in 3D tools such as Blender, Gravity Sketch, Fusion 360 or Rhino.
• Fluency in AI tools such as Vizcom, Blender, Runway or Sora.
• Fluency in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Keynote.
• Highly creative with a strong aesthetic and a problem-solving mindset.
• Deep knowledge of performance and lifestyle footwear.
• Positive attitude and energy.

• Knowledge and experience with sustainable design and manufacturing.
• 3D printing and prototyping skills.
