Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join our growing, high-performing team in Sarasota, Florida. This is a 100% consultative position
—no deliveries or in-house night call—designed to offer both clinical excellence and exceptional work/life balance. We are located 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Ft. Myers on the West Coast of Florida.

D. Jellison Cancer Institute, is the only hospital in Sarasota County providing obstetrical services, pediatrics, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, and a Level II Trauma Center.

• Join two experienced and Board-Certified MFMs
• Six Ultrasound Sonographers
• 2.5 Clinical Support Staff
• Three Patient Registration, Referral & Records (PRRR) Coordinators
• Dedicated Team Lead and Practice Manager
• Genetic Counselor (joining soon)

• High-risk pregnancy consultations
• Advanced prenatal diagnostic evaluations
• Genetic counseling and ultrasound services
• Invasive fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (as indicated)

  One hospital site only – Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH‑Sarasota)

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No in-house call or deliveries
• Phone-only call coverage with hospital rounds
• OB Hospitalist group provides 24/7 in-house coverage

• Level III NICU, 33 private rooms and an 8-bed OB Emergency Care Center
• System delivers over 4,500 babies a year
• SMH features a Maternal‑Fetal Navigation Program to support patients and providers
• Access to GE Viewpoint ultrasound and state-of-the-art perinatal diagnostic tools
• Expanding office space to 7,000 sq. ft. to support growing practice needs
• EPIC EHR is coming October 2026

• Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
• Current Unrestricted Florida State Medical License
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
