Requirements Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for South Shore Hospital in Sun City FLSite Directors will phone interview potential locum providers and answer any questions at that time
Must be BC in ABEM or AOBEM Locum need is for equivalent of 6 FTE's Locum providers must be flexible to work days nights and weekends Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
General Comments Position specific questions

· Is there a specific start date needed? ASAP
· Duration of need? At least 6 months
· What’s the schedule? On-site call coverage weekends nightso Main: 25 hrs MD/Dayo Are there specific dates needed?o If call is involved what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site? NAo Call/Rotation schedule? NA
· Will they take an APP or SFA when applicable? No
· Who should be the timesheet approver each week?
· What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? Administrative Orientation at Main campus Shadow shift at Main or assigned FSEDs EMR training Candidate Parameters
· Any specific fellowships/ certifications/ procedures/ competencies we are looking for? ABEM/ABOEM for Main IM/FP with at least 500 case in previous 12 months However this is the baseline requirement. Higher volumes experience in trauma or stroke programs and certification/eligibility for the ABPS emergency medicine Board. The latter provides a non-emergency medicine post-graduate training route for emergency medicine Board certification
· Experience level? Credentialing questions:
· Will emergency privileges be an option? Unsure
· Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? Hospital/unit questions
· Number of beds? 12 4 Fast Track
· Census? 22000
· How many daily admissions? 30 mainly geriatrics
· Are there any consults and if so how many per day?
· What’s the patient population?
· Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Certified Stroke Center
MMeditech FLGMust be willing to work at FSED's associated with main facility
