This inpatient facility provides obstetric and gynecologic services within a structured clinical environment, supporting a regional patient population with established protocols and organized workflows. The facility maintains dedicated obstetric emergency department and triage capabilities to ensure continuous care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations are conducted on-site in accordance with 24-hour in-house call coverage requirements.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida offers a range of community and cultural programming throughout the year, including outdoor concert series and arts center events hosted through the Parks and Recreation Department. The area also provides opportunities for wildlife viewing and outdoor recreation suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment will find both free and ticketed public events and resources accessible throughout the city.

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour in-house call assignments at an on-site facility in Florida, with ongoing coverage dates. Clinical responsibilities include OB emergency department coverage, obstetric triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and a low volume of delivery attendance in support of community OBs. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability throughout each designated coverage period.

Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this position.
