The Welding Adjunct Instructor is housed at the Advanced Manufacturing and Training Center near TSC's main campus. The major function is to lead the evening welding program, creating an ideal learning environment, maintaining discipline, and transferring knowledge to students while staying abreast of evolving industry regulations.

• Creates a teaching environment (lecture, group, or individual) targeting a diverse population, resulting in earning AWS certifications and training students to gain welding skills needed for success.
• Provides administrative support for course logistics (scheduling and curriculum development) and oversight of student support services (advisement, orientation, job placement) for students in the evening program.
• Works with the Program Manager and Program Specialist to coordinate the maintenance of student performance profiles, audit records, attendance records, and grades for the evening program.

Must be dependable, highly responsible, independent, self‑starting, and able to interact with a diverse student population. Experience with AWS certification instruction and knowledge of welding regulations are desired.
