Teaching Faculty I, 9 Month Salaried – Public Health

Position TypeRegular, Full‑time, 9‑month teaching load (4 courses per semester)
DepartmentCollege of Social Sciences and Public Policy – Public Health
Responsibilities- Teach four courses per semester (4/4 load), with possible reductions for eligible program‑related service
- Deliver upper‑division undergraduate and graduate public health courses, possibly including epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, and introduction to public health
- Engage in curriculum development
- Teach in both in‑person and online formats, depending on program needs
- Advise and mentor students
- Serve on undergraduate honors thesis committees
- Participate in service activities across the program, college, university, community, and profession
- Ph.D. or DrPH in Public Health or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment
- Expertise in epidemiology and/or experience in applied public health is particularly valued
- An educator committed to student‑centered learning and applied public health education. The program emphasizes preparing students to address real‑world public health challenges through evidence‑based instruction and meaningful mentorship
