College Algebra Adjunct Professor

We prepare learners in Pasco County, Pre‑K through 12th grade, for high school, college, and the workforce by delivering world‑class education through the arts in a collaborative environment fueled by a passion for learning.

• Teach undergraduate students in a specific field of expertise
• Develop and manage the class syllabus and ensure that the syllabus meets program standards
• Plan and create lectures, in‑class discussions, and assignments
• Grade assigned papers, quizzes, and exams
• Maintain and submit accurate grade rosters and class attendance records as required within established course deadlines
• Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations
• Report student learning outcomes, class reviews, and analyze student data
• Collaborate with colleagues on course curriculum
• Advise students on how to be successful and achieve goals
• Stay updated on innovations and changes within the course field
• Participate in professional development activities
• Attend and participate in faculty meetings, as assigned
• Adhere to Early College standards and policies

• All employees must be fingerprinted and pass a background screening process by the Clearinghouse

• Master’s or Ph.D. in the relevant academic field
• A passion for innovative education and a commitment to a diverse group of learners
• Advanced organizational skills
• Strong communication skills with a variety of students
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders
