Student Assistant - Work Integrated Learning
Keyano College’s Academic Success Centre is currently seeking a Work Integrated Learning Student Assistant for January 2026 – April 2026. Reporting to the Manager of the Academic Success Centre & Work Integrated Learning, the Work Integrated Learning Student Assistant supports the Work Integrated Learning Coordinator as they develop, coordinate, and facilitate preparatory, ongoing, and alumni employment services at Keyano College. This includes student records management, monitoring email and the Career Services Management System, overseeing correspondence and handling inquiries that can be addressed with straightforward responses.
The role entails using computer-based tools to identify, manage and document a wide range of activities associated with program management. Duties include using MS Office applications and Keyano College based applications for accurate recording of student marks, program eligibility and program activity data.

Qualifications- Must be a registered credit student at Keyano College in the Business Administration Management Coop diploma having successfully completed all year 1 courses by the end of Fall 2025 with a program GPA of 2.00 or higher OR a registered credit student in the Business Administration Human Resource Management diploma having successfully completed all other courses except HRM 211 by the end of Fall 2025.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Keyanomail, Moodle, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams).
- Able to adapt approach to accommodate individual student needs, learning styles and special educational needs.
- Able to work with students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Skills necessary for effective document design, proficient English language, spelling, writing, proof‑reading and ability to establish audience‑appropriate reading and vocabulary levels within a document. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of the campus and campus services.
- Highly dependable and punctual.
- Previous office experience.
- Knowledge of the Access to Information Act (AITA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA).
CUPE Student Rate – $20.43 per hour.
