The Veterinary Assisting Instructor is a position housed within the Division of Workforce Development that provides instruction for the Veterinary Assisting program and reports to the Director of Business and Workforce Development. The instructor is responsible for effectively teaching the program, creating an ideal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of discipline, and being able to transfer knowledge to students, while staying abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.

Must of minimum of three years of experience in the field or as a certified teacher in a veterinary program. Persons applying for this position must be dependable, highly responsible, independent, self‑starting, and have the ability to interact with a diverse student population.
