Adjunct Faculty – Communications & Humanities Division
Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce openings for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Communications and Humanities Division. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.
What You’ll Do- Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in humanities, literature, philosophy, religion, ethics, classics, music history, musicology, or art history.
- 18 graduate semester hours in one or a combination of the following areas: humanities, literature, philosophy, religion, ethics, classics, music history, musicology or art history plus a Master’s degree.
This position is primarily for in‑person, on‑campus Humanities (HUM) and/or Art Appreciation/History (ARH) courses taught on a variation of days (Monday through Friday) on the Main Campus in Tallahassee, Florida. The time blocks are during the morning and early afternoon. Some midday courses may be available.
