This is a Paid Internship position available through Career Source Capital Region. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined.
About this position
Job duties:
- Assist with classroom instruction and build a foundation in educational principles like classroom management.
- Develop strategies to support students of different learning abilities in reading, writing, and math.
- Support students in exploring career paths.
- Typically occurring Fall, Winter, and Spring (primarily during the school year but can work Summer, as needed).
- Have or desire to work towards a Teacher’s Aide certification.
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program or working towards earning a diploma.
- Previous food service experience preferred.
