As a Before & After Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students during authorized before or after school programs in accordance with CSUSA policy and established school procedures.
You Will Impact Education
- Reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Resolve conflicts with children and parents, possessing the ability to be firm but friendly and courteous when dealing with parents, children, and co‑workers.
- Follow proper student sign‑in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
- Monitor students, observe who enters and leaves the childcare area, pass out snacks, play with students on playground, tutor and assist students with homework, and resolve conflicts with children and parents.
- High school diploma or higher education credential.
- Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor preferred.
- Must like children.

- No physical exertion required.
- Somewhat stressful due to frequent student activity.
- Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
