Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing approach, with a focus on creating a safe and engaging environment for young children (ages 1-2 years). Responsibilities include developing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well‑being of each child.
Key skills include excellent communication, patience, and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. Candidates should be comfortable working closely with parents and other staff members to support each child’s growth and development.
Qualifications- Experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting.
- DCF 45 hours
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
- Teach beginning reading and math skills
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
