Role Description The Marianna Academy for Preschool is a full-time, on-site role based in Marianna FL. The Director oversees daily operations of the preschool, including staff scheduling, classroom activities, and adherence to licensing and safety regulations. This role includes leading curriculum planning, supporting teachers with instructional strategies, and ensuring classrooms maintain a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment. The Director manages parent communication, conducts tours and enrollment meetings, and addresses family questions or concerns in a professional manner.

Additional responsibilities include budget oversight, resource allocation, maintaining compliance documentation, organizing staff training, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida Directors License
• Strong background in Education and Early Childhood Education, with knowledge of best practices for preschool and kindergarten-age learners.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing and implementing age-appropriate, play-based learning programs.
• Ability to manage Budgeting responsibilities, including planning, resource allocation, and cost control for preschool operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff management skills, with experience supervising and coaching educators or childcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, staff, and community partners.
• Understanding of state licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and compliance procedures for early childhood settings.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy preschool environment.
