Production Technician II - Electrical​/Instrumentation & Controls

This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all Next Era Energy's non-nuclear generation operations. This is a multi-craft position that operates and maintains plant equipment. The plant is located in Southport, Florida. Preferred craft Electrical or I&C.

This position involves operating and maintaining plant equipment.

• Must obtain outside/inside operation qualifications
• A candidate possesses Journeyman level qualification specific to the craft discipline specified in the Position Specific Description as an Industrial Electrician, Journeyman I&C, or Journeyman Mechanic, or a candidate can hold an Associate degree that directly applies to Power Generation
• Must obtain the basic craft of the discipline specified in the Position Specific Description section if entering classification with a relevant Associate degree in addition to outside/inside qualification operation qualification
• High School Diploma / GED
• Pass the POSS & MASS tests

• 3-5 years Industrial experience in the craft discipline specified in the Position Specific Description section
