Position Specific Description

This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at Manatee Clean Energy Center in Parrish, FL. The successful candidate will have a strong safety leadership presence and bias for action. Instrument & controls and electrical maintenance experience is preferred. Experience in planning and executing daily maintenance on industrial plant equipment including gas turbines, steam turbines, instruments, transmitters, and valves.

The position will troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations while ensuring the plant's I&C equipment is always in excellent operational condition and available for use. This position is the site Distributed Control System (DCS) champion and owns the Alarm Management Process. The successful candidate understands the working hours include overtime, weekends, and overhaul periods.

• Combined-cycle power plant maintenance and/or operations
• Experience preferred in managing projects within budget and identifying capital/O&M projects to forecast plant's future budget
• Six Sigma quality tools

• Focuses on optimizing site maintenance
• Develops technicians’ skills and knowledge
• Standardizes processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability
• Applies advanced leadership skills for internal employee development and performance management
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
