Responsibilities
:

• Must have at least 7 years of generator maintenance experience in the power generation industry.
• Work with industrial personnel protection equipment on turbine decks and boilers; be physically fit to climb turbine deck, enter boiler, and wear respiration mask.
• Supervise power plant overhaul/outage planning and execution work.
• Lead crew activities and act as the Owner Representative for Next Era Energy.
• Coordinate with vendors to execute the company’s contracted work plan with required specifications, ensuring work is performed safely, with quality and on schedule.
• Qualify Next Era LOTO (In‑Plant Clearance) requirements after training and be able to travel to work sites and work during overhaul/outage schedules.

Coordinator Qualifications
:

• Mechanical coordinator: Prior steam/combustion turbine, HRSG, boiler or valve maintenance oversight experience; familiarity with BOP equipment; P91 welding experience is a plus.
• Electrical coordinator: Generator, exciter, auxiliary equipment maintenance supervision experience; prior electrical supervisor/superintendent role; grounding, medium/low voltage, transformer hands‑on experience; P&.
• Instrument & Control (I&C) coordinator: Instrumentation control systems calibration, testing, and tuning experience; prior field work on distributed control systems (DCS) such as GE Mark 5/6, Ovation; commissioning and startup of DCS; familiar with P&, electrical and mechanical drawings.
