Project Engineer

We are looking for a talented engineer who is looking for the opportunity to work on exciting projects in our Tampa office. In this role you will be a part of a growing team and contribute to transportation designs and mentoring of less seasoned staff members as we add to this team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background.
Responsibilities- Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation projects
- Geometric, maintenance of traffic, drainage, and signing/pavement marking design as necessary
- Development and mentoring of junior staff
- Interaction with clients on technical related issues
- Development and Quality Control of construction plans, quantities, and specifications
- Development of 3D roadway models
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a roadway engineer
- Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment
- Strong team player with effective internal & external communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
