Overview
1st and 2nd Assistant Engineer (Licensed)
Requirements- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of five (5) years working in a marine environment and experience conducting inspections, surveys and repairs onboard US Navy vessels.
- The 2nd Assistant Engineer should have a thorough understanding of ship operations, maintenance concepts, operating programs, and procedures.
- Familiar with the development of work items, drawings, analysis, cost estimates, and technical reports for ship repair projects.
- Experienced in the coordination of technical personnel and management of subcontractors including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), riggers, crane operators, transportation, and industrial marine trades.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
