NOVA Engineering is seeking a Full-Time Certified Welding Inspector for projects throughout the Florida Panhandle area with some travel throughout Florida. This position will be based from our Tallahassee, FL office. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

• Perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Conduct field testing and inspections.
• Review plans and specifications, performing inspections accordingly.
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers, and others.
• Input results and observations into daily reports.

• Current AWS CWI is required.
• NDT Level II UT Shearwave and Magnetic Particle Testing a plus.
• ICC certifications in Structural Masonry, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete are a plus.
