Lab​/Field Testing Technician - Sarasota

Ardaman has the following opportunity available:

LAB/FIELD TESTING TECHNICIAN

Full-time opportunity working in a soils and concrete testing laboratory and at various field sites in the Sarasota, Florida area.

Performs basic laboratory testing including but not limited to:organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens.

Field work includes but is not limited to soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities.

Experience preferred but will train.

Qualifications:

• FDOT/CTQP/ACI laboratory testing certifications a plus
• The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• The ability to perform mathematical calculations
• The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
• The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
• Excellent driving record within company standards
• Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
