Solar Repower Project Manager

Juno Beach, FL (Hybrid; preferred candidates working in Juno Beach)

This contractor will be responsible for full life cycle project management for solar repower projects, ensuring projects are properly planned, permitted, and ready for construction execution while maintaining safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

5+ years of relatable professional experience in engineering, consulting, or project management is preferred.

M-F, 40 hours per week. Travel 10-20%.

12-month contract + potential extension or conversion.

• Project Planning & Management:
  Lead pre-construction teams through all phases from development handoff to execution turnover, develop and maintain schedules, budgets, risk registers.
• Engineering & Design Management:
  Oversee design activities across electrical, civil, structural, mechanical; review deliverables; coordinate grid integration; manage design optimization.
• Permitting & Regulatory Compliance:
  Work with environmental team, coordinate with regulatory agencies, ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Procurement & Contract Management:
  Support procurement activities, manage equipment requirements, negotiate contracts, coordinate delivery schedules.
• Financial Management:
  Monitor budgets, cost forecasts, support capitalization, coordinate with finance for funding and close.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Lead meetings, reviews, milestone presentations; communicate status, issues, risks to senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy pre-construction project management or engineering.
• Experience with utility interconnection processes.
• Knowledge of solar construction.
• PMP certification preferred.

• Strong understanding of solar PV and battery storage technologies.
• Knowledge of power systems, grid interconnection, and utility regulations.
• Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with safe harbor provisions and renewable energy tax credits.
• Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
