ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Due Diligence Senior Associate to join our Florida Facilities team in Sarasota, FL. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.
- Perform Property and Facility Condition Assessments (PCAs/FCAs), Facility Needs Assessments, Pre‑ and Post‑Construction Surveys, and Accessibility Assessments, among other facilities‑related services
- Perform Pre‑and Post‑Construction Surveys, including documentation of target properties and management of photo archives; may supervise other assessors completing these surveys
- Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs), including data collection, database updates, capital planning, estimating remaining useful life, and developing cost estimates
- Conduct or provide senior review of assessments and reports
- Apply a strong understanding of buildings and building systems to data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Perform document reviews and prepare detailed Property Condition Reports
- Prepare reports and proposals
- Oversee field work and report preparation
- Maintaining and develop a client database
- Manage budgets and prepare invoices
- Promote a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of experience in property condition assessments, facilities engineering, or related building consulting work
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and maintenance requirements
- Extensive knowledge of ASTM standard E2018 and building codes
- Professional Engineer (PE), or Registered Architect (RA) licensure preferred
