OverviewKyra Solutions, a national leader in transportation technology and regulatory solutions, is seeking an experienced Licensed Professional Surveyor (LPS) for on‑site work in Tallahassee, FL. The role focuses on cadastre, GIS mapping, land boundary determinations, and supporting government entities and citizens.
Responsibilities- Conduct land surveying, boundary determinations, and cadastral GIS mapping for government and regulatory projects.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze survey‑grade geospatial data using ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or other surveying‑specific tools.
- Prepare accurate survey maps, boundary reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Work with property tax records, land ownership, and legal land boundaries.
- Apply sound judgment in interpreting complex survey data and applying relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with environmental regulatory processes impacting surveying and cadastral mapping projects.
- Licensed Professional Surveyor (LPS) with expertise in land surveying and cadastral GIS mapping.
- In‑depth knowledge and hands‑on experience with cadastral GIS mapping applications and survey‑grade data.
- Prior experience on cadastral mapping projects, property tax records, land ownership, and legal land boundaries.
- Advanced analysis and decision‑making skills with emphasis on sound judgment in complex survey data interpretation.
- Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and impact on surveying and cadastral mapping projects.
