OverviewWe are a growing mechanical company looking for a BIM Specialist in Tampa.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain BIM protocols for HVAC systems, ensuring that all models are accurate, comprehensive, and in line with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate all relevant information into a unified, functional model.
- Utilize BIM software to create detailed 3D models of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
- Analyze HVAC designs for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting BIM models and contributing to strategic planning and problem-solving discussions.
- Continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM processes, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.
- Extensive knowledge of BIM software and processes, with a particular emphasis on 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in HVAC design and mechanical systems.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Detail‑oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
