This individual will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve safety, product quality, productivity, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, program, validate, approve, and maintain part-specific robotic programs for shell and ACME robotic grinding operations.

Program and troubleshoot ABB robotic systems using RAPID programming language.

Optimize robotic grinding processes, tooling strategies, and process parameters to improve product quality, cycle time, productivity, and reliability.

Ensure manufacturing processes meet internal standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.

Monitor process performance, investigate manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Support new product introduction, process development, programming validation, and production readiness activities.

Provide technical support for capital equipment and automation projects, including equipment specifications, installation, commissioning, validation, and production implementation.

Develop technical requirements and engineering specifications for new robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.

Collaborate with Process Engineering, Part Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost effectiveness.

Develop and maintain process documentation, operating standards, work instructions, and training materials.

Provide technical guidance and training on robotic programming, robotic grinding, and manufacturing processes.

Provide backup programming support for CNC and EDM operations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in investment casting manufacturing.

Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting ABB robotic systems using RAPID.

Experience with robotic grinding, material removal, or automated finishing operations.

Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic.

Strong understanding of manufacturing automation, process development, process control, and continuous improvement.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical documentation.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, troubleshoot complex problems, and deliver measurable results.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
