Engineering Technician - Electronic - Navy

Supply Chain Management  (SCMI1), , has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician VI with an Electronics specialization supporting the United States Navy, Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) in Mayport, FL.

A minimum of three years of “journeyman level” experience within the last five years in each area (1) through (4) below:

• (1) Independently or leading a team of technicians troubleshooting
  , repairing or testing U.S. Navy ship structural, mechanical or electrical equipment/systems.
• (2) Independently or leading a team accomplishing formal material condition assessments (Ex. TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of U.S. Navy ship’s systems.
• (3) Communicating the findings of the above troubleshooting
  /assessments with official reports.
• (4) Documented experience with the following, or similar, workload databases:
  Microsoft Office products, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure From Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship’s Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and TAAS-Info.

• (1) Assessment and oversight of repair of U.S. Navy ships’ propulsion control systems.
• (2) Interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
