The Count Team member is primarily responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Tables Games, Slot Machines and Poker for reporting purposes. The Count Team provides documentation of counts fulfilling all Gaming and Company regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for the removal and replacement of BV Cassettes and Table Drop Boxes on a daily basis.
- Unlocks/opens slot machine doors and bill validator doors to access cans to be collected.
- Responsible for proper closing, locking and shutting of all machines dropped that day. Requires constant bending, twisting and lifting.
- Operate electrically powered tow cart used to transport full validator cash can carts to and from the Count Room. May also be required to manually push full transport carts to and from the Count Room.
- Unlocks and removes all currency/chips from each dropped canister and assigns designated asset number for processing.
- Performs daily cleaning maintenance of the currency counting machines.
- Records cash/chip drop.
- Assists with all Count Room Department activities as assigned
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or GED as well as money-handling skills or a combination of education and/or experience.
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal, written and proofreading) and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking skills and very detail oriented.
- Must be able to meet critical time deadlines.
- Comfortability to conduct mathematical transactions accurately and efficiently.
- The ability to lift/push up to 50lbs to 100 lbs., to stand and/or walk for an eight (8) hour shift and to bend and kneel.
- Must be familiar with computer systems and a 10 key adding machine.
- Able to work in a collaborating, structured, organized, and highly regulated environment
- While performing the duties of this job, team member is regularly required to stand, walk, and demonstrate high-mobility for a majority of the shift.
