Position Overview

Small Fish Big Fish Swim School & Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics – Jensen Beach location – is a new facility in Martin County. This full‑time position (32‑40 hours) requires standing, walking beside the pool deck and gymnastics floor, and can be performed on Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Communicate frequently and professionally with clients in‑person, by phone, and via email to schedule trials, lessons, answer inquiries, and collect tuition.
  • Guide customers toward enrollment and purchase decisions, increasing registration and sale transactions.
  • Educate and inform customers about current and new swim and gymnastics services.
  • Build professional relationships with customers and students to better assist them.
  • Maintain a growth mindset by providing suggestions/feedback to improve processes and attract customers.
  • Coordinate with Gymnastics Manager and Aquatics Manager to ensure a safe flow in the front‑desk area and monitor entry/exit for lessons.
  • Conduct facility walk‑throughs during idle times to ensure cleanliness of floors, bathrooms, and changing rooms, and that supplies are stocked.
  • Use computer software to register new members, maintain accurate records, and collect tuition.
  • Collaborate with team members for smooth shift transitions and achieving quarterly goals.
Ad Hoc Duties
  • Clean bathrooms, changing rooms, pool deck, and gymnastics equipment.
  • Organize the front‑desk area.
  • Follow the Emergency Action Plan to maintain a clean environment.
Qualifications
  • Some college education.
  • At least 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • High energy and enjoyment of working with kids.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Adaptability and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Growth mindset approach to informing and educating customers.
  • Comfortable standing or walking without shoes.
Work Schedule & Hours
  • Full‑time: 32‑40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work on Saturdays.
  • Shifts may include 9 am‑6 pm or 10 am‑7 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
