Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable, and Billing teams, ensuring clear goals, performance feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented environment that aligns with the company’s values and growth objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations of AR, and Billing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant transaction processing.
  • Monitor workload distribution, set priorities, and manage deadlines for the team.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues, resolving them effectively and professionally.
  • Document existing processes and workflows for AR, and Billing, ensuring clarity, consistency, and training readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with IT and other departments to streamline transaction processing systems and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over transaction processing, including approval workflows and segregation of duties.
  • Support month-end close including WIP schedules, accrual and deferral entries, revenue recognition and profitability review.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Demonstrated focus on team development and process optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and transaction processing best practices.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems (experience with Sage Intacct preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
