Position Status: A&P position

• Lead and/or execute financial, operational, and compliance audits, internal control reviews, and special projects of varying complexities with minimal oversight.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures by planning audits, designing audit programs, obtaining a thorough understanding of processes, and performing fieldwork.
• Prepare working papers in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
• Draft and finalize audit reports that communicate observations, issues, risks, and recommendations; ensure all findings and exceptions are clearly explained.
• Complete assigned audits, special projects, and reports within appropriate time frames.
• Collaborate with auditees to develop workable solutions and recommendations to improve risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Perform follow‑up audit procedures to assess auditee’s corrective actions.
• Assist with the annual risk assessment process.
• Carries out other duties as delegated by the Chief Audit Officer or Director of Audits, including internal assessments, investigations of fraud, waste, abuse, or other wrongdoing.

• Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience.
• Ability to obtain Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification within two years of employment.

• CI A or CPA designation is preferred.

• This position is an A&P position.
• Requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
