Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalized banking experiences while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance. Key Responsibilities- Customer Transactions:
Accurately and efficiently process deposits, check cashing, and withdrawals, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts with meticulous attention to detail. - Product & Service Promotion:
Cross‑sell and educate clients on the Bank’s diverse financial products and services. - Payment Processing:
Handle credit card payments, issue money orders, bank checks, and accept loan payments, ensuring accuracy and security. - Secure Handling of Assets:
Manage night deposit bags, admit clients to safe deposit boxes, and maintain confidentiality and security at all times. - Client Support & Inquiries:
Respond promptly to customer questions, provide account balances, and assist with general banking needs. - Reconciliation & Record Keeping:
Perform end‑of‑day balancing of transactions, verify cash totals, and reconcile ATMs. Maintain detailed reports and logs to ensure compliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service and cash handling.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within small teams.
- Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
- Ability to lift 10–20 lbs., stand for extended periods.
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
Part‑time Position With Hours Aligned To Branch Operations
- Mon–Thu: 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Fri: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sat: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (rotating schedule)
- Sun:
Closed
Employees may need to remain 15–30 minutes after closing.
