Location: Tallahassee
Government Analyst II in the Department of Financial Services, Treasury Bureau, located in Tallahassee. The role administers and maintains the state's credit card acceptance program, manages contracts with financial institutions and credit card processors, and coordinates e-Commerce programs across state agencies. The analyst performs contract monitoring, ensures compliance with state policies, and communicates with agency partners to keep programs current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Keyqualifications:
- Four years of professional accounting experience with the State of Florida, or post-secondary degree in accounting/finance (year-for-year substitution)
- Two or more years of experience dealing with the public and/or other state agencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems; collect, evaluate and analyze data
- Ability to manage state contracts and coordinate across multiple agencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently
