Location: Tallahassee
The Government Operations Consultant III works for the Department of State Division of Elections, managing the DOSGRANTS system for elections grants. The role involves maintaining data integrity, processing payments, reviewing expenditure reports, auditing grants, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This position also handles invoice processing, procurement, and financial audits related to election administration.
Key qualifications:- 4 years of accounting experience or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or Associate degree with 2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with State budgetary processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for data research and reporting
- Experience processing invoices in FLAIR system
- Current Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) preferred
- Experience administering grants with a Florida state agency
